Under Other, the 1968 invitation, for example, shows that the organisation was much more formal. Only married or engaged people were welcome at the Evening Cocktail Party. Back then you also had to pay to attend the Evening Cocktail Party: HFL 10, no less (HFL stands for Hollandse Florijn, or the Dutch guilder)!
In 1998, commissioners relaxed the rules about being married or engaged only a little. Now the “boyfriend” or “girlfriend” who had been in a relationship with a descendant for a long time was also welcome at the Stoop Celebration.
You will also find here a genealogy list of the descendants of Nicolaas Stoop and Margaretha de Veer from 1910, found on the Delpher website. The co-author was A.J.H. van Lynden.
