Articles of association are the fundamental rules, the provisions that underlie certain legal entities, such as, in this case, the Foundation named “Fonds Gesticht door mr. Dirk Hubert Stoop”, which are contained in the notarial deed of incorporation in accordance with Article 2:286 (Foundation) of the Dutch Civil Code.
The articles of association, together with the deed of incorporation, must be registered in the Commercial Register for inspection by third parties, while an authentic copy of this deed of incorporation must be deposited there (Articles 2:69 and 2:180 of the Dutch Civil Code).
