The Stoop Fund has existed since 1696 and was founded by Mr Dirk Hubert Stoop. He died on 4 December 1688 and, on his death, bequeathed a sum of 2,000 florins (in bonds) for the benefit of “material support to needy descendants” of his parents.
The aim of this site is to provide all registered descendants with information about the objectives of the fund and how they are carried out.
In addition, the site provides information about the family tree. This section can only be viewed by registered descendants.
