The Foundation named “Fonds gesticht door Mr Dirk Hubert Stoop” (Fonds Stoop), established in The Hague, is responsible for the processing of personal data as set out in this privacy statement. Personal data to be processed
Fonds Stoop processes your personal data because you are submitting/have submitted a request for financial support to the Fund and because you provide these data in support of your application. In this statement, “personal data” means all data of natural persons insofar as these are provided to the Fund, both by natural persons on their own behalf and by natural persons acting in any capacity for others such as legal entities, funds, partnerships, etc. Insofar as relevant, the statement below also applies with regard to persons other than natural persons from whom the Fund receives information in the context of requests for financial support.
For what purpose and on what basis is personal data processed?
Fonds Stoop processes your personal data for the following purposes:
• assessing your request for financial support and handling it substantively and financially;
• being able to call or email you if this is necessary to carry out our work.
Automated decision-making
Fonds Stoop does not make decisions about applications on the basis of automated processing.
How long is personal data stored?
Fonds Stoop does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. The following retention periods apply for the following (categories of) personal data:
• For granted applications, the Fund always keeps the applicant’s name and address details and the award letter. All other documents and data are destroyed no later than 5 years after the application was submitted.
• For rejected applications, the Fund always keeps the name and address details and the rejection letter. All other documents and data are destroyed no later than 1 year after the application was submitted.
• Your email and address details are used for sending the (digital) invitation to the Celebration and periodic newsletters.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Fonds Stoop only provides personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. Fonds Stoop does not use cookies or comparable techniques.
Viewing, amending or deleting data
You have the right to view, correct or (have) delete(d) your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Fonds Stoop, and you have the right to data portability. That means you can submit a request to the Administrator to send the personal data the Fund holds about you, in a computer file, to you or to another organisation named by you.
You can send a request to view, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or to object to the processing of your personal data, to info@stoopfonds.nl. To be sure that the request to view has been made by you as the person concerned, the Fund asks you to enclose a copy of your identity document with the request. You will receive a response to your request as soon as possible, but within eight weeks.

Fonds Stoop takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised alteration.
